Travis County Search & Rescue (TCSAR) is a first responder organization based in Austin, Texas comprised of highly trained volunteers dedicated to providing search & rescue (SAR) services to law enforcement agencies in times of need. TCSAR is a registered First Responder Organization with the Texas Department of Health and a member of the Austin/Travis County Emergency Medical System.

WHAT TCSAR PROVIDES:

Travis County Search & Rescue provides a mission-ready search & rescue unit deploying wilderness air scenting and human remains detecting dogs, medics, search technicians, as well as individuals trained in man tracking, wilderness navigation and search management. TCSAR services are available to law enforcement agencies on short notice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our search K9 teams are certified annually by 3rd party agencies to nationally recognized standards.
